Sister Kate Fitzgerald - Kindergarten Teacher (KA)

Sister Kate Fitzgerald, CDP, has taught for 21 years and has been a Kindergarten teacher at St. Ann’s Catholic School for six years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mt. St. Clare College in Clinton, Iowa. Sister Kate belongs to the Congregation of Divine Providence (CDP), which is a community of women within the Catholic Church who dedicate their lives totally to furthering the mission of Jesus in the world. In the summer of 2017, Sister Kate enjoyed a wonderful trip to France where she walked in the footsteps of the founder of the Sisters of Divine Providence: Blessed John Martin Moye. She says touching history is the BEST! When asked why she enjoys teaching at St. Ann’s, Sister Kate said she enjoys “sharing my faith and teaching children to communicate their feelings and how to show love. I love the family atmosphere at our school and I love everyone – teachers, parents, children and staff – who make up our school family.”
